Backyard Engagement Photography Session

Jo and Santo’s engagement session took place in the backyard of the bride to be parents home. When Jo suggested this location, we were delighted. As much as we love epic locations in the city and in the hills, picking a location that holds meaning to the couple is always a winner!    The gorgeous garden is 12 years in the making, Jo’s mum has an amazing green thumb and I’m a sucker for a cottage style plants! Jo and Santo’s parents are so welcoming and generous, we feel like we got a small glimpse of how much fun documenting this wedding in March will be.

With a glass of wine and homemade cheesecake in our bellies, we knew this experience was going to be different! We used moment design invites that Kelly picked up from Beth’s beloved workshop and had a lot of laughs with the couple. This was seriously lots and lots of fun! Connecting with our clients as they connected with each other in this way was the most amazing experience. I want every couple we photograph to feel what this feels like when we photograph them.
