I believe that the best photos come from telling your story in your own environment and not in a studio. Coming to your home or a location that has meaning to you, allows your family to relax and truly be yourselves.

We decided to have a motherhood session at their Brighton home, creating a comfortable and relaxed environment for both Leeann and Alannah. The goal was to capture the love and connection between them, while also preserving the memories of this unique stage in their lives

It had been a while since Kemi and her family had last taken family photos. So when she reached out to me, I knew exactly where to go. Wilson Botanic Park, with its beautiful gardens and serene atmosphere, would be the perfect location for their family photography session

Sessions Include:

Discovery call or Zoom meeting.
Travel to your home or chosen location within Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.
1 hour of Kelly, photographing your family.
Post-production and preparing your images and or family film for delivery online.

I like to document what is happening in an organic way, with no awkward posing. I will give you gentle directions and games if needed to make you feel relaxed and ensure we are capturing the moments that are important to you. Nothing is fake, everything is honest and raw. My style is mostly documentary with a healthy dollop of creativity.

In your own home or in an outdoor location of your choice within the greater Melbourne area. If you are stuck for local location ideas I can recommend some just ask for my list.

Hell Yes! I love animals. Make sure the location you have chosen allows animals and we are good to go!

In-home sessions are ideal for this.

If your session is happening outside 1 hour before sunrise and sunset is the most magical, in regards to lighting. However, these times rarely work for families with small children, especially in summer. The best time is usually when your children are awake, well-rested, and fed. I suggest 10 am for a morning session and 1 pm for a weekday afternoon session.

We can move the session to your own home if you have chosen an outdoor location and yes rescheduling for a different date is always available for sickness and anything else unexpected that comes up.

Usually within 2-3 weeks, with a sneak peek on social media within days after the session. Family films take longer to edit, please allow approximately 6 weeks during busy periods.
