On a cold winter's day Reuben and I took off down the freeway on our way to capture Laura and Matthew's wedding. The car temperature outside was only 5 degrees when we arrived in Daylesford. We warmed ourselves with a big breakfast at the boat house before our day of shooting. When we first saw Grange Bellinzona in Hepburn Springs with all it's country charm we were in love! The venue the couple had chosen was elegant with its Edwardian style building that is surrounded by the Wombat State Forest.
With help from amazing friends, close family and Deb the best wedding coordinator we have ever witnessed, the bride and groom were was super relaxed all day! The brides flowers are truly something to behold. Yellow sunflowers are my new favourite! Such a fresh happy colour. The rain stopped and the sun came out just after the ceremony finished so that we could take the loved up couple outdoors to enjoy some almost private moments together and exploring the gardens.
Laura and Matthew are crazy for the TV show Doctor Who, so it was only fitting that it influenced their wedding reception decor! I must admit I haven't watch Doctor Who, but their passion for the show is making me add it to my list of shows to binge watch when wedding session is over!
