Victoria Police Academy Wedding
Jo and Santo met in a fitness class. It didn’t take long for these two to find they had lots of things in common and fall head over heals in love. The Vogue Ballroom provided a spectacular backdrop for the celebration.
Jo’s morning was relaxed and fun. She even had the time to bake hot cross buns. All the girls had their hair done by Tangled and make up by Bevy of Beauties. The Bride wore a dress designed by Mancini, shoes by Wayne Cooper and her grandmother’s pearls. Santo gifted her a bracelet that very morning by messenger accompanied by a hand-written card and stunning red roses. The groom got ready at his parents home. Extended family popped in all morning to give their best wishes in typical Italian tradition. It was a beautiful thing to document.
The ceremony was held in The Police Academy Chapel. The chapels grand stain glass windows and beautiful wooden pews really looked magestic. We don’t photograph many church weddings, so we were beyond excited when we entered this grand building.
Fresh pink & white flowers by Classic Bouquets adorned almost every surface at the couples’ reception held at the Vogue Ballroom, in Burwood. Every table had a bottle of vodka & whisky at arm’s reach to make sure guest were in the mood to party! French crystal chandeliers gave the ballroom the most exquisite romantic lighting. The fabulous cake was baked by Lucy’s Divine Cakes. DJ Peter B pumped out the tunes that got everyone dancing!
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Cinestyle and George from Vogue Ballroom made sure we were well taken care of.
Jo & Santo, thank you for inviting us to document your perfect wedding day, we had the best fun creating images for you and your family to cherish forever.
